Artists who live or work in Belfast are invited to submit artistic pieces based on the native wildlife of Belfast for the chance of winning £150 per category and have their art, and one associated social media handle, illustrated on a selection of 120,000 beer mats throughout select bars across Belfast. Only one artwork per artist per category will be permitted. 

Two winning artworks per category from all submitted artworks will be chosen as winners by an independent panel and announced on World Arts Day - 15th April 2024.

Categories open for submissions are:

- Photography

- Digital Illustration

- Painting and Drawing

- Poetry

Works must be of wildlife that is native and found in Belfast, we are not accepting AI generated works and may ask for proof where we deem necessary.

Criteria

Artworks must fit a square template of 93 x 93mm. 

Poems must be short with a strict limit of no more than 12 lines and 80 words. 

Deadline for submission is 9am on 8th April 2024. Submissions past this will not be accepted.
